30 years ago, my dad told me “You should learn English. You won’t succeed unless you become fluent”.
When I decided to become an Investor in Digital Health, my son told me “You should learn AI. To succeed, you need to master AI enough to understand its possibilities, be able to challenge experts, have enough knowledge to define the path and guide your team”
Like me, you must be receiving so many AI lists, tools and trainings advice on social media. My main take away is that it's a very personal journey, like learning a new language
Below my short list of fields where AI is essential to build my new venture with a clear competitive edge, I am now testing and learning the tools bringing a step change vs what I used to do
1. 💻 Chatbot / LLM’s - using ChatGPT without being a full time prompt engineer?
2. 🎨 Content Creation - anything more convenient, easy to use and visual than Powerpoint?
3. ☁ Cloud / Database - can open source provide most of what we need?
4. ⚙ Automation - which ones can bring the investor job to the 21st century?
5. 💊 Applications across healthcare - what Ai science is behind the AI breakthrough across Research, Diagnostic and Patient Care? --> In this last one, I'd go one step further thinking about which AI science is opening the most opportunities for all of us and patients to manage our health, learning is likely to go on for a while…
